Ears Wide Open: Future Music
1:21:15
How do you define Australian Music? Australia’s classical community of composers is diverse, multidimensional, and, above all, thriving. Join host Stéphanie Kabanyana Kanyandekwe as she speaks to violist, conductor and programmer Aaron Wyatt, award-winning composer and collaborator Liza Lim, composer and audio-visual artist Robin Fox, and double bassist, producer, and educator Miranda Hill about the diversity of styles and influences and new forms of expression found in Australian music today, and where it is likely to go. Ears Wide Open is MSO’s talks and ideas program celebrating our music and artists through informative presentations, conversations, behind the scenes demonstrations and participatory workshops. Ears Wide Open is proudly presented by TarraWarra Estate. The Ears Wide Open program is supported by City of Melbourne and this event is supported by Creative Victoria.
