For 80 years the MSO has marked the festive season with a performance of Handel’s masterpiece, Messiah, and in 2020 the tradition continues. Featuring soprano Greta Bradman and tenor Samuel Sakkar, the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Benjamin Northey are joined digitally by the Melbourne Symphony Chorus. To commemorate this 80 year tradition, the MSO are joined by a community choir of hundreds to sing the grand finale of the work, the Hallelujah Chorus.
