Evergreen Ensemble in Scotland’s Tenducci

The local Melbourne Evergreen Ensemble bring fresh energy to baroque repertoire in a program celebrating the virtuosic Italian castrato Giusto Tenducci and his time in Scotland. The 18th century answer to a rock star, Giusto Tenducci wooed the audiences of Edinburgh and the city left its mark on his music. A composer as well as performer, this program explores rarely heard Baroque sonatas and songs, works by his contemporaries, as well as one of his own works.
