Jaime Martín is joined by the MSO and musicians from the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM) to present Stravinsky's full ballet score, based on a Russian fairy tale. The Firebird was the first of three landmark ballets written by Stravinsky for the Ballets Russes. Recorded live at Hamer Hall, the MSO under baton of Chief Conductor Jaime Martín deliver a concert hall presentation of the complete ballet score, bringing to life the story Prince Ivan, Koschei the Immortal, and the Firebird.
