MSO.LIVE brings you a special performance by the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra under celebrated conductor Gustavo Dudamel. Following is Mahler’s Symphony No. 4, a unique work in the composer’s output. Noted for its nostalgic and gentle explorations of childhood, innocence, and youth, the Symphony No. 4 was the last of Mahler’s ‘early’ symphonies in which he continued to integrate texts from his early song cycles.
